Plans for a new shopping centre development in Dingle have been submitted to Kerry County Council. The application, made by John Moran of Moran's Supermarket and Petrol Station is seeking to construct a new 'mixed use development with a supermarket, retail units, a restaurant, offices and a leisure centre at Mail Road, Dingle (location indicated above). The development is so consist of three or four storeys on a site of 1.3 hectares. The supermarket will have a net floorspace of 1,125sq metres and the new sports complex will neighbour Pairc an Aghasaigh. 202 car-parking spaces have also been included in the application.
